Robert S. Fleetwood, Ph.D.
Dr. Fleetwood has 25 years of experience in senior management corporate roles and business consulting. Before creating Management Tech Associates, Dr. Fleetwood was the Executive Vice President of Blockbuster Entertainment Group, part of the Viacom/CBS Company. In this role, Dr. Fleetwood held worldwide responsibility for human resources, new technologies and marketing. He also held responsibility for several operating entities of the Company including Spelling Entertainment, Republic Pictures, and Virgin Interactive Technology. Dr. Fleetwood was a member of the Viacom Executive Management Council.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Fleetwood was Senior Vice President of corporate human resources for C&S/Sovran Financial Group in Atlanta. He continued in this role as the company merged and later became NationsBank; today the firm is Bank of America. Dr. Fleetwood also founded Corporate Insights & Development, a successful leadership development firm located in Atlanta. Dr. Fleetwood holds a Ph.D. in organizational/clinical psychology from the Oklahoma State University and B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Illinois.
David F. McDaniel
Mr. McDaniel has more than 30 years of consulting experience, all in executive compensation and organizational effectiveness. He has consulted with hundreds of organizations in his career and has provided executive compensation consultation to more than 50 corporate boards. Additionally, he regularly consults with management on organizational structure, managerial selection and placement, and tactics for management motivation. Mr. McDaniel is principal author and editor of COMPENSATION COMMITTEE REPORTS, written for compensation committees of boards. The publication provides technical and practical advice on how to make executive compensation more responsive to shareholder and constituent interests. Mr. McDaniel is also principal faculty of COMPENSATION COMMITTEE WORKSHOPS, which trains board members on their responsibilities and liabilities in overseeing corporate executive compensation programs.
Mr. McDaniel worked for 18 years in two international compensation consulting firms. During his last five year tenure with one of those firms, Mr. McDaniel directed their U.S. business, which had over 500 professionals. Mr. McDaniel began his career as a tax accountant. His consulting career began by working with companies in the design of executive benefit programs. Mr. McDaniel is a frequent lecturer on executive compensation and organizational effectiveness issues. He is a nationally recognized authority on board/management relations and on the responsibilities of the compensation committee. He is a regular speaker to the CEO Roundtable. He attended undergraduate and law school at Florida State University, and also attained a degree in accounting.
